BIRD HUNT INFORMATION

1. We are excited to be able to offer our Veterans the opportunity to go bird hunting. All bird hunts will take place at Cackle Creek, with the exception of the Spring Turkey Hunt.

    2. When pheasant hunting with Veterans Afield, a state hunting license is NOT required as we are hunting on private game farms.

     3. We have a 4-day Spring Turkey Hunt on private land. When hunting turkeys with Veterans Afield, the following IS required:

• a small game license
• a state turkey permit
• a state turkey stamp

     4. When goose hunting with Veterans Afield, the following IS required:

• a small game license
• a federal duck stamp
• a state duck stamp
• only steel shot may be used

Once our dates are established for the fall hunts, we will post them on this website. As you can see below, we have successful hunts and a lot of fun while we're there! We are looking forward to another safe year!
